Instructions for the map

We have 3 different types of fasteners in our assortment.

Option 1: Double-sided tape
We use this option for light cards without backlight and plexiglass.

  1. Prepare the surface of the wall, make sure it is clean.
  2. Choose the desired place to place the map on the wall and wipe it with a damp cloth.
  3. Peel off the protective film from the double-sided tape on the back of the card.
  4. Carefully stick the map to the wall, applying even pressure over the entire surface.
  5. Make sure the map is level on the wall. If necessary, correct its position.

Note: If the card doesn't stick the first time or needs to be re-glued, use a hair dryer to heat the back of the card.

Option 2: Plastic clips.
We use this option for cards with built-in lighting (without plexiglass), or large multi-layer cards without lighting that are too heavy for the tape.

  1. Assemble the card by putting the pieces together according to their location and twist it.

  2. Mark the places on the wall where you want to install the clips for the wall panels, referring to the holes in the bottom of the box, as shown in the photo on the right.

  3. At the markings, screw the wall clips onto the dowels.

  4. Connect the backlight of the card (if available).

  5. Attach the map to the wall by hooking the clips on the map.

  6. Make sure the card is securely attached to the clips.

Option 3: Map with plexiglass

  1. Assemble the map by putting the pieces together according to their location.
  2. Screw it using the self-tapping screws that come in the kit. (If the holes on the card are circled with a black marker, you need to use shorter self-tapping screws for them, which will also be included in the kit).
  3. Place the card next to the wall and mark the places on the wall where you will need to make mounting holes.
  4. Using a drill, make holes according to the marked places.
  5. Insert the dowels into the holes and install the supplied metal fasteners according to the location of the card.
  6. Connect the card backlight.
  7. Attach the card to the metal fasteners.
